{"id":4385,"date":"2020-10-28T15:41:00","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T14:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dger.beniculturali.it\/?page_id=4385"},"modified":"2025-07-31T11:11:54","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T09:11:54","slug":"art-1-della-legge-n-534-del-17-ottobre-1996","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dgeric.cultura.gov.it\/en\/istituti-culturali\/art-1-della-legge-n-534-del-17-ottobre-1996\/","title":{"rendered":"Article 1 of Law n. 534 dated 17 October 1996"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Aggiornamento: <\/strong>A seguito della della modifica organizzativa del Ministero della Cultura, le competenze relative agli Istituti culturali\u00a0sono assegnate alla Direzione generale Biblioteche e istituti culturali, Servizio II, nell\u2019ambito del\u00a0Dipartimento per le Attivit\u00e0 culturali.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article1<\/strong> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/dgeric.cultura.gov.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/LEGGE17Ottobre1996nr_534.pdf\">Law dated 17 October 1996, n. 534<\/a>states that institutions, if they meet the list of requirements below, may be eligible, upon application, to the <strong>State\u2019s annual ordinary grant, through inclusion in a specific three-year table.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ai sensi dell\u2019art. 6 comma n. 1 lett. a)circolare n. 5 del 20 febbraio 2023, i beneficiari del contributo triennale ex articolo 1 L.534\/96 hanno l\u2019obbligo di trasmettere al Ministero della Cultura \u2013 Direzione Generale Educazione, Ricerca e Istituti culturali \u2013 Servizio II, esclusivamente attraverso la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istitutidgeric.beniculturali.it\/it\/auth\/login\/\"><strong>telematic platform<\/strong><\/a>, il bilancio consuntivo entro il 30 giugno di ogni anno ed, ai sensi della lettera b), con le stesse modalit\u00e0, entro 30 giorni dall&#8217;approvazione, il bilancio preventivo, la relazione riepilogativa dell&#8217;attivit\u00e0 culturale svolta ed il programma culturale.<\/p>\n<div class=\"Grid\">\n<div class=\"u-padding-top-xs Prose u-floatLeft u-sizeFull\">\n<div class=\"u-padding-top-s Prose\">\n<div>Cultural institutes must:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>be established by state law and perform tasks established by this law, or possess legal status;<\/li>\n<li>be non-profit;<\/li>\n<li>promote and consistently carry out research and cultural development activities that are documented and usable;<\/li>\n<li>have relevant bibliographic, archival, museum, cinematographic, musical, or audio-visual resources, consistently usable by the public;<\/li>\n<li>carry out and provide services of established and relevant cultural value;<\/li>\n<li>develop cataloguing and computer applications to form databases and image databases to provide meaningful tools for the programming activities of the Ministries working in cultural heritage and scientific research;<\/li>\n<li>organize conferences, exhibits, and other events on activities performed, with scientific and cultural value;<\/li>\n<li>carry out activities based on a three-year programme;<\/li>\n<li>perform editorial activities, or otherwise promote publications;<\/li>\n<li>document activities performed in the three years prior to the grant application as well as submit annual final accounts;<\/li>\n<li>present the programme of activities for the next three-year period;<\/li>\n<li>have adequate facilities and suitable equipment to carry out its activities;<\/li>\n<li>for initial inclusion, cultural institutions must be established and have been performing their activities continuously for at least five years. At least three years of this activity must be documented when presenting the application for inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>Procedures for submitting applications are outlined in the <a href=\"http:\/\/dgeric.cultura.gov.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/CIRCOLARE-N-5.pdf\">Circular n. 5 dated 20 February 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><b>Instructions for cultural institutes receiving grants<\/b><\/h4>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The logo that should be used for the activities of cultural institutes receiving grants, with the specification that \u201cActivities have been made possible by a grant provided by the Directorate General for Education, Research, and Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Culture\u201d, is as follows:\nDirectorate General for Education, Research,
