The DGERIC Circular No. 5 of 28 February 2022 "Interventions concerning National Committees for celebrations, anniversaries or cultural events and National Editions".
It regulates the procedures for presenting the application and the evaluation criteria for the establishment or refinancing of both the Committees and the national editions.
The circular introduces two novelty relevant to the National Committees: the centenary to be celebrated may occur within the three-year period envisaged and not necessarily in the first year; clarifies that institution requests relating to cultural figures who are still alive are not admissible (Article 4, paragraph 1 and paragraph 3).
Requests for the establishment of National Committees and Editions for admission to contributions are sent by the 1st to 31st March of the previous year at the beginning of the celebrations. The circular repeals and replaces the DGERIC circular of 25 February 2021, n. 6 .
