On the occasion of IX National training course of Italia Nostra on the subject “Border landscape. Reflections and planning for the city and territory in transformation” the new was presented memorandum of understanding between the association and the General Directorate of Education, Research, and Cultural Institutes, focused on the adoption of strategic education and training actions related to cultural heritage and landscape.
DG-ERIC in particular promotes the activity of the association regarding cultural heritage. Italia Nostra Onlus has, in fact, been carrying out actions of awareness and enhancement of the national historical-artistic-landscape heritage and activities of training of teachers and students. Among the main objectives of the institution there are also the protection and enhancement of cultural and environmental assets, The environmental rehabilitation of the peninsula and the promotion of sustainable development.
