The Directorate-General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes has stipulated a convention with the'University of Tuscia for the reservation of a place dedicated to employees of the Ministry of Culture for the attendance of the course PhD in Historical Sciences and Cultural Heritage.

Admission requirements

Access to the doctorate, without age and citizenship restrictions, is open to those who, as of 31 October 2022, are in possession of one of the following qualifications:

  • university degree prior to DM 509/99 (so-called old system)
  • specialist and/or master's degree (under DM 509/99 or DM 270/2004)
  • second-level academic qualifications issued by institutions belonging to the AFAM sector (Higher Artistic and Musical Education)
  • similar academic qualification obtained abroad previously recognized as suitable.

Those who graduate between the date of submission of the application and 31 October 2022 will be conditionally admitted until the degree is awarded.

One place, without scholarship, is reserved for MiC employees in possession of the requisites and authorized by the Director of the relevant Office.

Deadline for sending applications: 26 August 2022 at 2.00 pm.
