On 31 December 2022 the deadlines for participating in the international competition Young European Heritage Makers Competition.
The cultural heritage competition is aimed at children and teenagers at school age. It is promoted by Council of Europe in the framework of the European Heritage Days and coordinated in Italy by General Directorate of Museums and from General Directorate of Education, Research, and Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Culture.
The goal of the competition is to encourage new generations to discover, explore and express the value of their cultural heritage. The competition will also culminate with thepreparation of an exhibition at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
The educational services of central and peripheral institutes are invited to promote, disseminate and guide young people in a cognitive journey on the theme "Sustainable heritage: a legacy for the future".
Who can participate
The contest is aimed at children and teenagers from 6 to 17 years old guided by a mentor. It consists in the creation of a video or graphic product that illustrates the interpretation of the cultural heritage closest to and familiar to them.
