Cataloguing Cultural Heritage: In-Depth ICCD Modules

The Central Institute for Cataloguing and Documentation (ICCD), in collaboration with the Directorate General for Education, Research, and Cultural Institutes and with the support of the Central Institute for Sound and Audio-visual Heritage (ICSBA), is offering a training course on the topic of Cataloguing Cultural Heritage.

The training, divided into 6 different modules, is an opportunity to update knowledge on topics of cataloguing, an essential tool for the protection and conservation, and a strategic area for heritage promotion and education.

The modules refer to anthropological, art historical, photographic, archaeological, and naturalistic heritage, as well as a technical module dedicated to the site of the general catalogue of cultural heritage.

Target audience

Ministry of Culture's staff who perform cataloguing activities for cultural property.

Enrolment and use

Enrolment is open from 9 to 23 May 2022 exclusively on the MiC Course Portal: https://portalecorsi.beniculturali.it.

For the above modules, there is a separate application for each in-depth module chosen on the Course Portal.

The training modules will be available on demand from 6 June to 31 October 2022 on the MiC’s MOODLE Platform: https://moodle.cultura.gov.it/.
