Restoration between innovation and tradition – BASIC MODULE and SPECIALIST MODULE

The Directorate General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes, in collaboration with Assorestauro, the Italian association for architectural, artistic and urban restoration, promotes a training course dedicated to the restoration and recovery of historical heritage. The course is aimed at the personnel of the Ministry of Culture, as required by Training implementation plan 2021- 1st quarter 2022.

The training proposal, as per attached program, is divided into two modules, for which two separate registrations are required:

  1. BASIC MODULE - 23 November 2021 from 11:00-13:00 and 14:30-16:30
    Theory and legislation dedicated to the protection and restoration of cultural heritage and historical heritage, latest regulatory updates
    In the basic module, problems relating to the non-constrained widespread historical heritage will be studied in detail: recognition of value, accuracy of the methods of intervention, economic and fiscal incentives; the vision of professionals and companies, the comparison with the protection offices, the role of the client.
  2. SPECIALIST MODULE - 30 November - from 11:00-13:00 and 14:30-16:30
    Materials and technologies for restoration between innovation and tradition. Application case studies

    The specialist module has as its objective an update on the latest technological developments and materials dedicated to historical buildings in terms of preliminary diagnostics, design and application on site.

Target audience

MiC personnel: executives, officials and technical assistants who carry out activities related to the topics of the course.

Enrolment and use

Registrations for both modules must be received from 26 October to 7 November 2021 exclusively on the Course Portal at the link: https://portalecorsi.beniculturali.it.

Both modules will be usable live on Zoom platform.
