Friday May 19 it will take place the National Day of Wine and Oil Culture (GNCVO) 2023.
This year's edition will open with the conference Rural traits and food and wine identities of the Italian landscape and cultural heritage: how the production culture of oil and wine has helped to impress values of uniqueness and typicality to places and traditions at 10:30 am at Sala Cavour in Via XX Settembre in Rome.
The day is organized by theItalian Sommelier Association (AIS) in collaboration with the Ministry of agriculture, food sovereignty and forestry, The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Merit As part of the memorandum of understanding renewed in 2022 which reiterated "the commitment to work together to promote and support, at the schools of the first and second cycle, a process of knowledge of the economic history of the territories and cultural traditions linked to wine and oil production, as well as of the cultural, tangible and intangible heritage, represented by them, also through specific museum and historical-documentary itineraries in places of culture identified for this purpose".
On the occasion of the day will also be presented a AIS scholarship addressed at students of institutes with tourist, agricultural, food and wine, hotel and technical-economic address.
