Notice of reopening registrations for MiC's staff - 27.06.2024
We inform you about the reopening of registrations for the staff of the Ministry of Culture for the training activity The National Geoportal for Archaeology – updated edition 2024.
The training activity is divided into two different courses of four hours each:
- National Geoportal for Archaeology. Data Entry Functionality – Conferment
- National Geoportal for Archaeology. Validation – Publishing Functionality
Enrolment and use for the reopening of the registrations
Registrations are open from 1 to 17 July 2024 exclusively on Portal of MiC courses. Please note that there are two separate enrolments for the respective courses. Access to the authorization procedure by the Director on the Course Portal is possible until July 19, 2024.
The trainig activities will be available on demand from 25 Juy to 30 September on the new platform E-lea of MiC.

Course description
The General Directorate for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes with the General Directorate for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape and the Central Institute for Archaeology (ICA) are organising two training days focused on the use of the National Geoportal for Archaeology (GNA), which represent an opportunity for information and professional updating for all users involved in the production and management of archaeological data.
Target audience
The training days are aimed at MiC staff who carry out activities related to their issues. The first day about The National Geoportal for Archaeology, data entry functionality , scheduled for 11 June, it is also open to external users (companies and professionals in the archaeological sector, students and researchers interested in using the GNA).
How to register and use the first two modules
Registrations are open from 17 to 28 May 2024 exclusively on Portal of MiC courses. It should be noted that there are two separate enrolments for the respective courses.
Access to the authorization procedure by the Director on the Course Portal is possible until May 31, 2024.
The training days, of four hours each, will be available:
- live on 11 and 12 June 2024 in Rome at the Maria Clara Lilli Di Franco conference room in via Milano 76, headquarters of the General Directorate for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes
- in on demand (on demand),from 24 June to 30 September 2024, sulla nuova Piattaforma della Formazione E-lea of the MiC.
