Closing ceremony of the centenary of the birth of Bruno Zevi

On Thursday day March 24, 2022 will be celebrated conclusion of the centenary of the birth of Bruno Zevi at Maxxi, National Museum of 21st Century Arts.

The ceremony, organized by the Bruno Zevi Foundation in collaboration with the National Committee for the celebrations of the birth of Bruno Zevi, will be introduced by Margaret Guccione (Maxxi Foundation), Antonio Tarasco (MiC – DG-ERIC), Adachiara Zevi (Fondazione Bruno Zevi), with the moderation of Pietro Barrera (Maxxi Foundation).

At the end of the greetings, we will continue with the presentation of the winning essay  Bruno Zevi Award awarded annually to a historical-critical essay that analyzes with originality a work, an architectural theme, or an architect of the present or of the past (thirteenth edition).

After the award ceremony, the following interventions are planned:

  • The reissues” edited by Luca Zevi;
  • Bruno Zevi and Latin America” edited by Maria Argenti and Francesca Sarno;
  • A guide to organic architecture” edited by Giovanni D'Ambrosio and Luca Guido;
  • Biagio Rossetti according to Bruno Zevi” edited by Francesco Ceccarelli.

Finally, at the end of the celebrations, there will be a screening of the documentary by title "Bruno Zevi: architecture as prophecy“, edited by Luca Guido.
