On 7 dicembre, from 16.00 to 18.30, su Slash Radio Web the fourth appointment of the program will be broadcast 'Art Conversations', dedicato quest’anno al ciclo Landscapes. Places, narratives, works.
Contemporary context: art, architecture and multisensoriality
The central theme of the fourth episode is the urban landscape, a place that reflects the evolution of society in contemporary age. A landscape characterized by a mixture of historical and modern elements, where ancient architecture coexists with new constructions, often reinterpreting space through creativity and design. Cultural heritage today finds itself facing new challenges linked to cultural identity and issues such as accessibility and environmental sustainability. A special contribution will be dedicated to the Roman EUR district, designed in the 1930s and whose architecture echoes the grandeur of ancient Rome and the ideal cities of the Renaissance.
Regarding cultural accessibility, will be presented Ithe Invisible project: an exchange of good practices to make the study of architecture, and art in general, accessible to students with visual disabilities. Will be explored in depth the relationship between Certosa and the San Martino Museum and the territory, and their sensorial itineraries, also to celebrating the past International Day of the Rights of People with Disabilities.
The meeting will be completed by "Accessibility and landscape: a possible combination", a conversation between the Homer Tactile Museum of Ancona with the cultural association Arte Sella, which has been committed for years to preserving and interpreting the alpine landscape through intervention by artists from all over the world.
