Training and professional development program in Greece for MiC officials
As part of the collaboration agreement between the Foundation School of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Italian Archaeological School of Athens - which plans to design and implement training and updating modules for professionals in the cultural sector on the care, management and enhancement of the archaeological heritage - a Training and development program in Greece for officials of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
The program aims to develop a network for the internationalization of the Italian system, allowing both to establish collaborative relationships with foreign institutions in the sector and to implement an exchange of good practices between Italian and Greek officials.

- Management and enhancement of archaeological complexes and areas with particular reference to public-public and/or public-private partnerships
- Museum projects in the archaeological field in public and private contexts
- Innovative preventive archeology projects
- Cultural heritage education projects through archaeology
Target audience
The program is intended up to a maximum of 10 officials of the Ministry of Culture identified among the following profiles:
- Archeologists
- Architects
- Engineers
Learning modes
- Periodo di svolgimento: posticipato al periodo dal 3 al 12 giugno 2022.
- Luogo di svolgimento: Atene, con interventi in aula e visite nei siti in Attica ed Eubea
- Lingua di lavoro: inglese
La frequenza dell’intero programma di formazione, per un totale di 50 ore, dà inoltre diritto a 35 crediti di formazione continua (CFC).
Entro il termine del programma, ciascun funzionario dovrà predisporre una proposta di attività di approfondimento da svolgere attraverso un successivo periodo di lavoro presso uno dei siti greci partner. Potranno quindi essere selezionati fino a tre funzionari per svolgere un periodo di ricerca/lavoro sul campo della durata massima di un mese, nell’ambito del progetto della Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali “Competenze in movimento”; progetto dedicato allo scambio di professionisti del settore a livello internazionale.

Applications to participate must be received from 2 to 16 November 2021 only through the MiC Course Portal: https://portalecorsi.beniculturali.it.
All the details on the requirements, application and selection procedures and on the development of the program are contained in the DG-ERIC circular no. 34 dated 29 October 2021 and its attachment.
At the end of the selection, by 23 December 2021, the provisional ranking of candidates admitted to the program will be published; the final ranking of those admitted will always be published on this page 18 January 2022.
