Course description
The Directorate-General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes promotes, within the scope of the Dicolab. Digital Culture project, the training course Accessible digital for shared heritage, curated by the National School of Heritage and Cultural Activities.
The training initiative is part of the actions defined by the Ministry of Culture within the PNRR, Mission 1, Component 3 Culture 4.0, Investment 1.1 Digital strategies and platforms for cultural heritage. In particular, the program is financed by the European Union-Next Generation EU with resources from sub-investment 1.1.6 Training and improvement of digital skills, of which the National School of Cultural Heritage and Activities is the implementing body.
The program
The aim of the initiative is to explore the fundamental themes related to digital accessibility to promote its application in the contexts of management and valorization of cultural heritage, with an inclusive and sustainable approach.
The training course is divided into two courses in MOOC format:
- The key principles of accessible digital
- Co-design, research and AI for accessible heritage
Target audience
The training course is aimed at all MiC staff of the Officials Area and Assistants Area who carry out activities related to the topics covered in the course and to external users interested in the proposed activities.
Enrolment
Registrations for MiC staff are open from 8 to 22 May 2025 exclusively on the Course Portal. The authorization procedure for MiC staff by the Manager will be possible until 26 May 2025.
Registrations for external users are managed directly by the National School of Cultural Heritage and Activities on its own platform.
Learning mode
The training course will be available on demand on the FAD platform of the National School of Heritage and Cultural Activitiesfrom 3 June to 31 October 2025.
