Course description
We offer MiC staff a replication of the basic course of the Beyond the Garden cycle, a free program of continuous training and professional development for the care and management of historic parks and gardens. The initiative of the Ministry of Culture is promoted by Service VIII of the former General Secretariat in collaboration with the General Directorate of Education, Research and Cultural Institutes, curated and implemented by the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali with the support of APGI Associazione Parchi e Giardini d’Italia.
The project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU as part of the PNRR Culture 4.0. in fact, the sector of historic parks and gardens is the subject of substantial funding, the measure M1C3 Investment 2.3 “Programs to enhance the identity of places: historic parks and gardens”.

Goals of the course:
- to bring a wide audience closer to and raise awareness about the care of the historic garden
- to disseminate basic theoretical knowledge
- to introduce to the contents and tools for the enhancement and communication of cultural heritage
Enrolment
Registrations for MiC staff are open from 14 November to 2 December 2024 exclusively on the MiC Course Portal. Access to the authorization procedure by the Manager on the Course Portal is possible until 3 December 2024.
Learning mode
The course replica is divided into webinars, video pills, video lessons, podcasts and other formats available on demand on the FAD platform of the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali from 9 December 2024 to 9 June 2025.
