The Service I of the former General Directorate for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes promotes, as part of the Dicolab. Digital culture, the Cultural heritage, rights and digital transition training course, curated by the National School of Heritage and Cultural Activities.

The training course, divided into four modules including multimedia courses, MOOCs, webinars, hands on, offers insights into law and intellectual property in the digital age:

  • Copyright and science
  • Personality rights: from the moral right of copyright to the right to the image of cultural property
  • Open Access and Open Science
  • Access to cultural heritage

The course is aimed at MiC staff and external users.

The training initiative is part of the actions defined by the Ministry of Culture within the PNRR, Mission 1, Component 3 Culture 4.0, Investment 1.1 Digital strategies and platforms for cultural heritage. In particular, the program is financed by the European Union-Next Generation EU with resources from sub-investment 1.1.6 Training and improvement of digital skills, of which the National School of Cultural Heritage and Activities is the implementing body.
