They come back Saturday 25 and Sunday 26th September the GEP – European Heritage Days (European Heritage Days), the largest and most popular cultural event in Europe. This year with the theme “Cultural heritage: ALL included!”.

All GEP 2021 appointments are published on the MiC website (daytime events and evening openings) and on the European site of the European Heritage Days.

We point out that theCentral Institute for the Pathology of Archives and Books proposes the extraordinary opening of its historic headquarters, with the possibility of visiting the restoration laboratory. In particular, the restorer's work will be illustrated by the students of the ICPAL Higher Education and Study School, who will perform some demonstrations and guide visitors in the creation of specimens of marbled paper according to the traditional Japanese "suminagashi" method.

Furthermore, it will be possible to take guided tours inside the historic garden of the Institute, the first seat of the Botanical Garden of Rome, and to view the entomological collection with explanations from experts.

The Directorate General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes participates in the days with a contribution on the ongoing activities at Palazzo Silvestri Rivaldi.
