With reference to Memorial Day which occurs on 27 January, all offices of the Ministry of Culture are invited to communicate initiatives, meetings and awareness-raising events on the subject. The day was established in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, to commemorate the extermination and persecution of the Jewish people, as well as the Italian military and political deportees to the Nazi death camps.
Any update on scheduled activities must be received no later than Thursday 9 January 2025 at Service VI – Events, exhibitions and exhibitions of the former General Secretariat (sg.servizio6@cultura.gov.it) which, in a coordinating function, will collect the proposals received and give them visibility through institutional channels.
