On 23 e il 24 novembre si svolgerà a Brescia la VIII Conferenza nazionale “Italia è cultura” sul tema “Una cultura per l’Europa”. L’evento è organizzato dall’AICI – Associazione delle istituzioni di cultura italiane insieme alla Direzione generale Educazione, ricerca, istituti culturali del Ministry of Culture, in collaborazione con Fondazione Brescia Musei and the Fondazione Luigi Micheletti e con il supporto della Fondazione Comunità Bresciana e della Fondazione Cariplo.
The theme of the initiative is the position of Italian culture as a cornerstone of the culture of our continent, with the aim of highlighting the most advanced experiences in European context and addressing some aspects that ask to be treated in a dimension that is no longer exclusively national.
The conference is divided into two days:
- la prima è dedicata all’Assemblea dei soci AICI e introdotta da una riflessione sulle attività svolte nell’ambito della Capitale italiana della cultura 2023: Bergamo e Brescia
- la seconda, aperta dai saluti istituzionali e dalla relazione introduttiva della Presidenza, si articola in tre panel dedicati ai seguenti temi: il lavoro culturale in Italia e in Europa, la sua realtà e il suo futuro; le prospettive della transizione digitale, con particolare riferimento alle connesse problematiche relative all’impatto sul regime della proprietà intellettuale; la fruizione del patrimonio culturale, inteso come patrimonio delle comunità territoriali e aperto a nuove forme di comunicazione e a nuovi pubblici
In each panel, Italian and foreign speakers, chosen from among the main experts in each subject, discuss with directors of the Ministry of Culture and with representatives of the associated cultural institutes; each meeting can provide both new elements of knowledge of the European cultural model and concrete operational indications that make it possible to strengthen the European vocation of the associated institutes and lay the foundations for the construction of a network also at a continental level.
Representatives of the European Commission, the Government, local administrations and the rectors of Brescia universities are invited to the Conference.
