The online awards ceremony for the Young European Heritage Makers Competition / Young protagonists of European cultural heritage 2023 edition for the 6-11 year old category will be held on Friday 24 May at 9.30 am . For Italy the project will be rewarded:
These are the reasons: “Venturing into the realm of cultural exchange, the students of the Froebel International School in Italy collaborated to discover the hidden treasures of the Royal Site of Carditello. Through imaginative narratives and multimedia presentations, they shared Carditello's rich history and cultural significance with the world, creating connections across generations and borders. Their project not only celebrated the beauty of Italy's heritage, but also highlighted the importance of preserving cultural landmarks for future generations to appreciate.”
The project, presented together with others Italian projects by a commission of the MiC established by the Direzione generale Musei and dalla Direzione generale Educazione, ricerca e istituti culturali, will be awarded to young finalists from Poland, Slovenia, Spain and Ukraine.
For the 11-17 year old category, a cultural visit to Strasbourg is planned which will take place in September.
