Wednesday 13 July 2022 we participate with the Centre for Educational Services (SED) at the conference Spaces of inclusion and democracy: theory and practice of the concepts of inclusion and democracy in educational contexts in Merulana Palace in Rome.
The event is part of the project Future Education Workshop (2022 edition); organized by the research group Social Studies on Science, Education, Communication of theIRPPS (Research Institute on Population and Social Policies) del National Research Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
The working tables of the scientific and educational communities are dedicated to Theories and practices of inclusion and democracy in educational contexts - From the debate on transformative teaching, to transversal, multicultural and citizenship skills: main findings and problems that emerged. The contributions proposed by the Sed concern in particular the cultural heritage, declined in the themes of education, active citizenship and accessibility.
The session is divided into three working tables; each composed of representatives of the scientific and educational community, students and other social actors, who will discuss the theories and practices of inclusion and democracy in educational contexts, on objectives and possible actions and policies to be undertaken.
How to participate
The event is open to the participation of teachers, school administrators, students, associations, research institutions, upon registration and subject to availability.
Participation is valid for the recognition of training credits for the updating of school teachers of all levels.
