The volume
The editorial project starts from the desire of the General Directorate for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Culture to deepen the history of the Fondazione Museo delle Antichità Egizie di Torino, whose twentieth anniversary of the institution is celebrated in 2024.
The origins and evolution of the Foundation represent, in fact, a unique model, the result of the collaboration between the then Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Regione Piemonte, the Provincia di Torino, the City of Torino, the Compagnia di San Paolo and the CRT Foundation. The analysis of the Foundation's development highlights considerable food for thought for scholars and professionals in the sector on issues such as the management and enhancement of museums, and more generally of cultural heritage.
