
The new call for applications concerning the tests to obtaining the qualification of restorer of cultural heritage has been published in the Official Gazette – Competitions and Examinations no. 41 of 27/05/2025, in implementation of Article 182, paragraph 1-quinquies, of Legislative Decree no. 42 of 22 January 2004 (Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape), which cancels the previous call published in the Official Gazette – Competitions and Examinations no. 48 of 14 June 2024.
Those who are in possession of:
- the qualification of collaborator restorer/technician of restoration of cultural heritage obtained by participating in the public call for the acquisition of the qualification of collaborator restorer of cultural heritage – restoration technician of 11 September 2014 (pursuant to art. 182, paragraph 1-sexies, of the Code)
- or qualifications obtained through a course of study lasting a total of at least five years by 30 June 2012 or by 31 December 2014 for those enrolled in the relevant courses by 30 June 2012 (deadline provided for by Article 182, paragraph 1-ter, of the Code), as specified in the call for applications.
The application form must be completed and sent, within sixty days of the publication of this announcement in the Official Gazette, using the application available at the following link: https://servizionline.cultura.gov.it
To participate in the tests, you must pay the participation fee of € 49.58, only through the PagoPa system, through the appropriate function available at the following link: https://pagonline.cultura.gov.it/. A copy of the receipt of payment of the admission fee must be attached to the application.
Candidates who have applied to participate in the previous call, published in the Official Gazette – Competitions and Exams no. 48 of 14 June 2024 – who have not requested a refund of the fee of € 49.58 – must attach the receipt of payment of the fee previously paid to the application for the purposes of participation in the new call.
Those who intend to request the refund of the participation fee paid during the previous call for applications, must send a specific request to the email address restauratori@cultura.gov.it, attaching an identification document and indicating the details of their IBAN on which to receive the relative refund.
It should also be noted that – pursuant to the Decree no. 57 of 15 March 2024, containing organisational regulations of the Ministry of Culture, the offices of direct collaboration with the Minister and the Independent Performance Evaluation Body – competence in the field of cultural heritage professionals will pass to the Directorate-General for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape within the Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
