The third edition of the meeting "SBAM:incontri ravvicinati" (San Bonaventura Biblioteche Archivi Musei) organized by the Fondazione San Bonaventura for cultural heritage operators, in particular Libraries, Archives and Museums, will be held in Naples, at the Fra Landolfo Caracciolo Library, on 20 and 21 October
The event is organized thanks to the contribution of the Ministry of Culture, Directorate General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes and of the Campania Region, Directorate General for Cultural Policies and Tourism.
This third edition finds inspiration in the thought stimuli of three "greats" whose centenary is this year: Francesco De Sanctis, Niccolò Copernico and Italo Calvino.
The two days include focus dedicated to the themes of accessibility, governance and multidisciplinarity and work tables in which institutions and operators of cultural heritage will be able to discuss and meet to share experiences, good practices, problems, solutions and cultural promotion initiatives.
Six national entities will compete for the "Maneant" award, established by the Foundation, which will be awarded to three cultural operators or institutes chosen on the basis of projects or activities relating to these themes.
The Director General of Education, Research and Cultural Institutes Andrea De Pasquale will be present on Saturday 21 October in the final session with the speech dedicated to "Narrating history and literature: the experiences of the Central State Archives and the Central National Library of Rome".
