Contributions for the publication of unpublished monographic volumes

The circular which regulates the granting of contributions aimed at the publication of unpublished monographic volumes of significant cultural interest promoted by associations, foundations and other non-profit organisations is published.

The application for granting of contributions can be submitted from 1st to 31st January of each year. If the deadlines fall on a public holiday, these are different from the first following working day.

All the news for filling out the applications

• The registration on the portal, for the insertion of new applications, is allowed exclusively through the SPID or CIE.
• The contribution request must be submitted exclusively using the telematic platform managed by the Ministry of Culture, Directorate General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes, Service II accessible at the address https://istitutidgeric.beniculturali.it. Any other form of submission will not be considered. Even partial omission of the requested data excludes the evaluation of the request.
• The requests can be presented by associations, foundations and other non-profit organisations, operating on the national territory, with a legally registered Italian tax code and with purposes, provide for the statute, exclusively of a cultural nature , scientific, political and economic.
• In the Body's registry, the fields have been made mandatory and blocking the progress of the formulation of the request.
• All the self-certifications necessary to complete the request (gratuity of social offices, false or mendacious declarations, fulfillment of the transparency obligation for public contributions received, declaration of non-subject to the DURC) will be available on the platform, in order to facilitate the insertion of the application. ​
• Has been introduced on the platform a new section for expense reporting, for bodies eligible for financing, to be completed no later than 180 days from receipt of the bank transfer. We also remind you of the obligation to transmit 2 copies of the publication rewarded.
• The Commission members are: an expert in the library sector; a research expert in the economic-political sector; a research expert in the scientific sector; an expert in the valorization of cultural heritage.
• Expansion of evaluation criteria within the projects: they must guarantee an important contribution to the knowledge and progress of scientific research; the protection, valorisation and promotion of Italian cultural heritage; of Italian political, social and economic history.
