The MiC takes part in the Didacta Italia Fair from 20 to 22 March 2024

The Ministry of Culture takes part in Didacta Italia Fair, the event is dedicated to the schools and is scheduled from 20 to 22 March 2024 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.

Didacta Italia Fair, a trade fair on innovation in the schools, aims to encourage debate on the world of education, create a meeting place between schools, bodies, associations and institutions, and offer spaces dedicated to training, education and updates in the sector. The main companies in the school supply chain are participating in the initiative and at the same time training events and meetings aimed at teachers and professionals are proposed on the calendar.

MiC's stand in the fair

During the three days of the event, a stand dedicated to the Ministry of Culture will be set up, located in the Spadolini Pavilion, consisting of an information area and an area for cultural heritage education, curated by the VI Events, Exhibitions, Events Service of the General Secretariat in collaboration with the General Directorate for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes. Many interactive educational activities will take place in the stand, such as the "Design your Italian Capital of Culture" workshop to ideally nominate a youth capital or the workshop, with the simulation of a practical test, of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure on the admission tests to the School of Higher Education and Study. Students can also take part in the many workshops organized by the Educational Services by MiC's institutes. At the stand it will be possible to have information regarding the "Charter of Youth Culture" and the "Charter of Merit" and the educational services of the MiC.
