We will then move to Lake Nemi together with Dr. Daniela De Angelis, director of the Museum of Roman Ships in Nemi, to talk about the compelling story of the ships of Emperor Caligula, the many attempts that led to the exceptional recovery and construction of the current museum. We will listen to the audio-portrait of Caligula, by Serena Nicolì, trainee at the DGERIC and Luca Carbone, continuing with passages on the stories of recovery and the figure of Caligula.
