Planning and identification of needs

The articulation of the plan incorporates the main European and national guidelines, of a general nature on the Public Administration and specific for the Ministry of Culture within the guidelines of the Plan of training, research and self-evaluation activities 2021-2023 of the Ministry of Culture, three-year planning document of training, research and self-evaluation activities edited by DGERIC in line with the objectives of the institutional activities of the Administration .The plan also derives from the results of the survey of training needs, managed by the DGERIC and the Fondazione Scuola dei heritage e delle delle attivit cultural, aimed at employees of the Ministry of Culture, to explore the their training needs. From this survey emerged, among other things, a widespread awareness of the opportunities that the digital transition represents for the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage and the need, therefore, to strengthen the knowledge useful for governing the processes and skills to act on them. Many have highlighted the strength of cultural heritage as a strategic element in the ecological transition and expressed an interest in knowing in depth the contents of Green Public Procurement (GPP). Another issue to which the majority of the sample interviewed was sensitive is that of the safety of the Italian cultural and landscape heritage, with widespread awareness of the level of risk deriving today also from climate change: in this case it is clear the need for practical training, carried out through simulations and case studies. Finally, there is a strong demand for specific training courses for the legal-administrative area, in particular to accompany complex protection and valorisation procedures. The result is varied and complete training offer, attentive both to the in-depth study of technical-scientific topics and to the development of interdisciplinary and transversal skills.
