The initiative is promoted by the Omero State Tactile Museum – TACTUS Center for Contemporary Arts, Multisensory and Interculturality.

For the MiBACT, the Directorate General for Education and Research - Service I, Research Office - Center for educational services of the museum and the territory (Sed) and the Directorate General Museums - Service II - Management and Enhancement of Museums and Cultural Places participate .

Museums and places of culture

Museums and places of culture are invited to join the Biennale Arteinsieme by promoting, in the period May-August 2017, activities aimed at promoting the participation of people with disabilities and publicizing all the actions that may already be in place, aimed at overcoming any possible barrier and discrimination.

The adhesions must be sent by January 31, 2017 by filling in the online form available on the Omero State Tactile Museum website under the heading Artetogether Biennale, the planned initiatives must be communicated by 15 March 2017, by filling in the following form again by the Omero Museum.

Schools, Academies, Conservatories

The school world is invited to participate through contests and educational-teaching projects, to be implemented during the 2016/2017 school or academic year.

  • Arteinsieme Special Books
    Aimed at: Nursery, Primary and Lower Secondary Schools.
    Aimed at: creating a tactile book inspired by the themes of the testimonial artists.
  • Artetogether Figurative Arts
    Aimed at: Artistic High Schools, Fine Arts Academies, Institutes of Artistic Education.
    Aimed at: creating a multi-sensory work of art inspired by the poetics of the artist Mimmo Paladino, which can also be enjoyed through the sense of touch to include blind people.
  • Artetogether Music
    Aimed at: Conservatories of Music, Music and Dance High Schools, Higher Institutes of Music, Music Schools.
    Aimed at: creating projects inspired by the theme of the violin, an instrument of Maestro Salvatore Accardo, which take into account the use of people with disabilities.

Out of Competition

  • Sensory Totem Project
    Aimed at: Lower secondary school.
    Aimed at: creating aids on a monument in one's own territory useful for promoting awareness of it for blind people.
