Seminar “Works to be Found Again”. Cultural Property Taken from Jews in Italy
The Working Group for the study and research of cultural property taken from Jews in Italy, established at the Directorate General for Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape, in collaboration with the School of Cultural Heritage and Activities Foundation and the Directorate General for Education, Research, and Cultural Institutes, is promoting a seminar titled " Works to be Found Again”. Cultural Property Taken from Jews in Italy: an initial assessment.
The event focuses on cultural property taken from Jewish communities in different Italian cities, and from individual Jewish citizens, following the enactment of racial laws, between 1938 and 1945.
The seminar, scheduled for 16 September 2022 at 9:30, in Italian with simultaneous English interpretation, will be held at the National Central Library of Rome - Sala Macchia. Participation can be in-person, subject to availability of classroom space, and will also be available in streaming on the FAD Platform of the School Foundation.
For MiC staff, it will also be possible to follow the seminar on demand from 17 October to 30 November 2022 on the FAD Platform.
Target audience
The course is aimed at MiC officers and all staff performing activities related to the topics discussed.
Seminar attendance (totalling approx. 4 hours), entitles participants to 4 continuing education credits (CFC).

Enrolment is open from 19 to 30 September 2022 exclusively on the Course Portal.
Please note that those participating in the September 16 live broadcast (both in-person and streaming) must register and be authorized through the appropriate procedure on the Course Portal in order to obtain the certificate and corresponding CFCs.
