Course description
The General Directorate for Museums, the General Directorate for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes and the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Museums Calabria and the Calabria Region, organize the workshop The tools of the National Museum System – Catanzaro Editionfor MiC staff.
The initiative is part of a series of meetings on the territory planned by the third edition of Musei in Corso, information and training project for the National Museum System.
The second meeting will take place on June 5, 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, in Catanzaro at Sala Oro Cittadella regionale in viale Europa, 35 for a maximun of 30 attendees
Workshop objective
- create a common and collaborative culture on the issues of museum care and management
- promote the acquisition of skills for those who work in museums
- test and update new museum tools
Target audience
The training initiative is addressed to the Ministry staff, for a maximum of 30 participants, with special regard to the Directors and Superintendents or their delegates according to the following indications:
- Regional Directorate of Calabria Museums and Related Museums – n. 20 representatives
- Autonomous Museums of Calabria – n. 4 representatives (2 per Institute)
- Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of the Calabria region – n. 6 representatives (2 per Institute)

The subscriptions to the laboratory Gli strumenti del Sistema Nazionale Museale – Edizione di Catanzaro, reserved for MiC staff, are extended to May 23, 2023. Le authorizations must be released on the Course Portal no later than May 24 .
