National Landscape Day, Tuesday March 14, 2023

Description of the event

The National Landscape Day, established in 2016, has the objective "to promote the culture of the landscape in all its forms and raise awareness among citizens on issues related to it".

Discover all the events organized on March 14, 2023 at museums, archaeological sites, libraries, archives, MiC offices and institutes or promoted by external associations and bodies on the theme of landscape on the dedicated page: cultura.gov.it/evento/giornatanazionaledelpaesaggio2023

Furthermore, on 14 March 2023 at 10.00, in Rome, in the Spadolini Room of the Ministry of Culture, the National Landscape Award which awards, every two years, recognition to a project that has stood out for its ability to enhance the landscape through conservation, management or planning actions, in line with the 4 criteria indicated by the European Union: exemplary, sustainable territorial development, participation, awareness. The winner will compete, representing Italy, in the VIII edition of the Landscape Award of the Council of Europe.
