Description of the event

It opens on March 28 at the Central Institute for Graphics (ICG) the exhibition “Le Marche. L’unicità delle molteplicità”, dedicated to the figures who have distinguished themselves making Marche a region that has always been creative and competitive.

The exhibition – which can be visited free of charge until 28 May at the ICG headquarters in Palazzo Poli – traces the history of women and men from the Marche region who have changed history by operating with winning methods in many fields: from art to literature, from music to sciences, from entertainment to sport.

Just think about personalities such as Giacomo Leopardi, Raffaello Sanzio, Maria Montessori, Gioachino Rossini, Virna Lisi, Roberto Mancini, Valentino Rossi, represented in the exhibition by an original work, an object, a film or photos.

In the space dedicated to Leopardi there will be, for example, two books owned by the great poet and writer, a goose feather pen and an autograph writing; in the one set up for Raphael there will be instead a miniature, the last portrait of the Master still alive.

The exhibition is supported by the Marche Region Presidency and ATIM - Agency for Tourism and Internationalization of the Marche, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with the Central Institute for Graphics.
