On March 14, 2025, the National Landscape Day will be celebrated, established by the Ministry of Culture in 2016 with the aim "of promoting landscape culture in all its forms and raising awareness among citizens on issues related to it".
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the European Landscape Agreement adopted by the Committee of Ministers of Culture and the Environment on 19 July 2000 and officially signed in the Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence on 20 October 2000.
