On friday 29 September 2023 the Central Institute for Restoration – ICR will participate in the European Night of Researchers, an initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005 which involves thousands of researchers and research institutions in all European countries.
The objective is to create meeting opportunities between researchers and citizens to spread scientific culture and knowledge of research professions in an informal and stimulating context. Among the priority objectives of the ICR is to initiate agreements with bodies and institutions to develop a sensitivity and collective awareness of conservation.
Also this year the ICR collaborates with the Association Frascati Scienza, leader of a network of researchers, who from 23 to 30 September is dedicating itself to Science Week with a rich program of events held by ICR experts in collaboration with other relevant public institutions in the world of culture and research.
The theme continues from last year, LEAF – heal the planet's Future. LEAF is a project funded by the HORIZON-MSCA-Citizens-2022 program of the European Commission, within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. The ICR projects capture the spirit of the "LEAF" call, which represents care for the future of the planet by expressing the research and conservation action carried out by the Institute in all facets.
All the appointments of the European Night of researchers can be consulted on the Italian site of the European Researchers' Night and on the institutional channels of places of culture.
Information on the European Researchers' Night LEAF and the LEAF project, with the program of all the events coordinated by "Frascati Scienza", are available on website of their association.
