Project activities continue Arqueo-Cuba on the occasion of XXIV Week of Italian culture in Cuba, scheduled from 21 to 27 November 2022.
The mission of the Italian delegation includes:
- inspections of sites of interest aimed at monitoring areas and planning field work
- institutional meetings
- webinars
- technical tables with the Italian and Cuban project partners
Among the most important visits, those of the archaeological sites Amoedo House and it's Canada, both located in the Matanzas bay, where the excavations will be carried out which will start between December 2022 and January 2023 with the students of Sapienza University of Rome.
The agenda of appointments will culminate on 26 November with the presentation of the progress of the project at the Castillo de Atarés in Havana.
During this intervention, a focus will be presented on the investigations and studies in the identified intervention sites, in addition to the presentation of the topics of the training modules for 2023.
