Course description
The Directorate General for Museums, the Directorate General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes and the School Foundation of Cultural Heritage and Activities, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Museums and the Emilia Romagna Region organize the workshop Tools for the National Museum System and cultural heritage digitization processes, reserved for MiC staff.
The training initiative is part of the series of meetings on the territory scheduled for the third edition of Musei in Corso, an information and training project for the national museum system.
The meeting will take place in person on September 18, 2023, from 10.00 to 17.00, in the conference room of the MAMbo Museum of Modern Art in Bologna, in via Don Giovanni Minzoni, n. 14, for a maximum of 40 participants
Workshop objective
- create a common and collaborative culture on the issues of museum care and management
- promote the acquisition of skills for those who work in museums
- test and update new museum tools
- deepen the practices promoted at the local level and identify the training needs related to the digitization of cultural heritage
Target audience
The training initiative is aimed at Ministry personnel, for a maximum number of 40 participants, with particular regard to Directors and Superintendents or their delegates according to the following indications:
- Emilia Romagna Museums Regional Directorate – n. 8 reps
- Offices belonging to the Emilia Romagna Regional Directorate of Museums – n. 20 representatives (1 per Institute)
- Museums and Archaeological Parks with special autonomy of Emilia Romagna - n. 6 representatives (2 per Institute)
- Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Emilia Romagna – n. 6 representatives (2 per Institute)
Enrolment
Requested registrations should be received from 4 August to 3 September 2023 exclusively on the MiC courses portal. The access to the authorization procedure by the Director on the Course Portal is possible from 4 August to 7 September 2023.
