Course description
The Directorate-General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes organizes the course “Gender equality. Measures to combat gender-based violence: female empowerment" in which the following points will be analyzed in particular:
- Approaches to gender equality: from WID to WAD to GAD
- The contribution of studies on gender differences
- The phenomenon of gender-based violence: definition, forms, diffusion, effects
- The paradox of violent partnerships
- The Istanbul Convention and measures for the respect of human rights
- The way to empowerment
The course will take place on September 14, 2023 from 9.30 to 13.30 in person at the "Maria Clara Lilli Di Franco" conference room in via Milano 76 in Rome - headquarters of the Directorate General - and will be simultaneously broadcast in synchronous mode (live streaming) on the Moodle Platform of the MiC.
Furthermore, the day will always be usable on the MiC Moodle platform from in asynchronous mode (on demand) from 1 October to 15 December 2023 for those who had not benefited from it directly.
The course, intended for all Ministry personnel, entitles you to 4 continuing education credits (CFC).
Entries must be received from 28 July to 8 September 2023 exclusively on the Course portal. It should be noted that access to the authorization procedure by the Director on the Course Portal is possible from 28 July and until 13 September 2023.
