“Submerged Heritage” training course

Course description

La Direzione generale Educazione, ricerca e istituti culturali in collaborazione con la Soprintendenza Nazionale per il patrimonio culturale subacqueo inaugura un percorso formativo by title "Patrimonio Sommerso”, incentrato sulla tutela, gestione e valorizzazione del patrimonio subacqueo.

The training course is divided into two days:

  • The first day, 4 December 2023, is dedicated to the role and activities of the National Superintendency for underwater cultural heritage
  • The second day, 6 December 2023, explores the UNESCO Convention for the protection of underwater cultural heritage

Target audience

The two courses are aimed at Directors and staff of the Officers Area and Assistant Area of the MiC engaged in related activities to the contents of the course.

Enrolment and use

Registrations are open from 15 to 30 November 2023 exclusively on MiC Courses Portal. Please note that there are two separate registrations on the Course Portal, one for each course.

Access to the authorization procedure by the Director on the course portal is possible until 1 December 2023.

The two training days will take place in the following ways:

  • in presence – in the Maria Clara Lilli Di Franco conference room in via Milano 76, Rome, headquarters of the Directorate General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes from 10.00 to 12.00 – on December 4, 2023 and on December 6, 2023;
  • live on 4 and 6 December 2023 and on demand from 13 December 2023 until 29 March 2024 on the MiC Moodle Platform.
