The Ministry of Culture adheres to the International day of persons with disabilities which occurs the 3rd December.
The MiC thus confirms its commitment to the overcoming physical, cognitive, sensory and cultural barriers in places of culture.
Indeed, the initiative has the objective of stimulating public debate on the theme of the universal right to culture, in order to contribute to overcoming all forms of discrimination and exclusion with constant and tangible actions.
These objectives, also financially supported by specific investments envisaged within the PNRR, are in line with the guidelines of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, with particular regard to quality of education and to reduction of inequalities.
DG Museums and DG-ERIC invite all MiC educational institutes and services to join the day.
