We point out for all MiC staff the Directive on the enhancement of people and production of public value through training. Principles, objectives and tools. The Directive, issued on 14 January 2025 by the Minister for Public Administration, Senator Paolo Zangrillo, and addressed to all public administrations, reaffirms the strategic aims and objectives of training within public administrations.
The Directive aims to guide administrations towards the identification of training solutions functional to the achievement of strategic objectives and the pursuit of the purposes underlying the training of public employees required by the PNRR and necessary for the achievement of its targets.
The training priorities include 5 main areas of expertise: leadership and soft skills; skills for administrative, digital and ecological transition; skills related to the principles and values of administrations (inclusion, ethics, integrity, safety and transparency).
The promotion of training is, therefore, a specific performance objective for each manager who must ensure the active participation of employees in training initiatives, so as to ensure, starting from 2025, the achievement of the target of 40 hours of training per employee per year.
