On air, Thursday 28 March at 11.10pm for the first time on Rai Storia, the fourth episode of "Officina Patrimonio" dedicated to the theme of encounter.
Culture and heritage are bearers of plural identities, they facilitate the understanding of diversity, they highlight how meetings, exchanges and influences contribute to educating global citizenship and a sustainable future. It is precisely the relationships between people and places, with their complexity, that are at the center of the fourth episode of "Officina Patrimonio", the program created by Rai Cultura and the Directorate General for Education, research and cultural institutes of the Ministry of Culture.
In this episode, "Officina heritage" meets in Ravenna the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the Provinces of Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini, in Milan the Direction regional Museums of Lombardy at Palazzo Litta, in Pontecagnano the National archaeological museum of the Regional Directorate of Museums of Campania and in Potenza the National Library.
Encounters between history and present themes, between places of culture and territories and, above all, between people, communities and different social actors.
Girls and boys will meet professionals to learn, starting from archival-photographic documentation, the anthropic and natural environment and understand how and why a law to protect the landscape is bornor, rather, how the institutions operate in verifying the cultural interest of the assets subject to confiscation from organized crime. They will understand how archeology belongs to the territory and the museum, which preserves and returns its finds, can and must be a place of training, meeting and exchange of skills, a 'space of citizenship' accessible to all. Finally, the gaze of the younger generations will be turned to the future. They will enter a modern library where they will find themselves, together, tackling digital innovation topics through robotics and programming workshops.
