The Education Implementation Plan involves the annual planning of educational activities based on guidelines set forth in the Three-year Plan for educational, research, and self-assessment activities of the central and sub-central offices of the Ministry.
The subject areas of educational activities are divided into:
- transversal
- legal and administrative/accounting
- technical/scientific
Its development is the outcome of preliminary work, including:
- survey of educational needs in the central and sub-central institutes of the Ministry
- identification of general and specific educational objectives
- etting the context for internal and external collaborations, particularly with the School of Cultural Heritage and Activities Foundation
The plan also includes the offerings of the National School of Administration (SNA), in order to make internal actions complementary and synergistic with those of the School.
An integral part of the annual Implementation Plan are the courses organised by the central and sub-central institutes of the Ministry, directly or through agreements with other entities (Regions, INPS, Universities, etc.); these courses, like all training activities promoted by MiC structures or by other public and private subjects that include educational activities performed at or in collaboration with the central and sub-central offices of the Ministry, must be assessed and authorised in advance by the Directorate General for Education, research, and cultural institutes (art. 15, comma 2, letters b) e f) of the D.P.C.M. 169/2019).
CFC, Continuing Education Credits for MiC employees
Since 2018, the system of continuing education credits (CFC), initiated on an experimental basis in 2017, has been fully operational; specifically, CFCs are awarded considering the duration and complexity of the training activity and whether or not a final assessment is performed.
The awarding of credits is the sole responsibility of the Directorate General for Education, Research, and Cultural Institutes.
Through the course portal, the Directorate also manages registration and authorization processes for educational activities and provides for the issuance of certificates of participation. l’iter di iscrizione e autorizzazione delle attività formative e provvede al rilascio dei relativi attestati di partecipazione.
