Course Portal

The Directorate General for Education, research, and cultural institutes, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Organisation, designed and implemented the Course Portal, an automated management tool for the Ministry of Culture’s educational activities.

The Portal, as indicated in the 2018 Education Operational Plan, has two priority functions:

  • fully automated management of all of the Ministry’s educational activities; from the enrolment phase to the issuance of certificates, including authorisation from the responsible manager and the attachment of the protocol to the application.
  • creation of a centralised database of courses taken by each Ministry employee.

The two objectives are in line with the principle of digital administration; in order to process documentation and manage procedures with computer systems and optimise efforts with a view to efficiency, as well as immediate traceability of the proceedings themselves.

The process of enrolment-authorisation-attestation of the training activity is carried out through the Portal. In order to facilitate the work of staff and directors, FAQs have been developed to illustrate the system’s features and guide users through the individual steps.
